Today was "Take Your Kid to Work" day for Grade 9 students across Manitoba. We were lucky enough to have two students come to Linwood.
The first student is Noah, a former Linwood student. Noah went to work today with his dad at HP Builders. This company has very generously donated labour and materials to install our new Buddy Bench, purchased by Parent Council. Watch for more information regarding a ribbon cutting ceremony coming soon. Big thanks to HP Builders for the generous donation and to Noah and his dad for spending their day contributing to our school community!
The second student who came today is Maggie, who is Mrs. du Plessis' cousin. Maggie spent her day experiencing the primary classroom by working in Room 10. The students all agree, she could have a great future as a teacher! Thanks for joining us today, Maggie.
